Fine to be imposed for dumping waste in the city; vehicle used to be confiscated - Corporation Commissioner
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner warned that fine will be levied for dumping waste in the city and vehicle used for littering willbe confiscated.
The Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer inspected the areas including Peelamedu in the East Zone of the Coimbatore Corporation today 11.11.2020.
He inspected the dumping of garbage and building debris by vehicles close to CODISSIA.
He said fines will be levied on those who dump garbage and building debris on roadsides and in public places and those vehicles will be confiscated. He said the owners of the respective place should make sure that the garbage is not dumped and that garbage should be dumped only in litter bins placed by teh corporation. He added that the public should give their full cooperation to keep the corporation areas clean.
