Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Tuesday recorded 2,146 fresh COVID-19 cases and 25 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 7,48,225 and toll to 11,387.

Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 2,237 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,18,129 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 18,709.
Among districts, Chennai led with 577 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 196 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 72,257 today, totalling to 1,07,09,256 getting examined till date.
