In this context, the construction of a botanical garden and a boat house in Valparai is underway in full swing due to the initiative of Valparai MLA Kasturi Vasu.
Under the circumstances, MLA Kasturi Vasu, who visited Valparai today, inspected the sites of the botanical garden and the boat house.
Further, she directed the municipal officials and the contractor to complete the works expeditiously.
She later told reporters that the work would be completed early next year and the botanical garden and boat house would be operational.
Valparai municipal commissioner Paunraj, AIADMK city secretary Mayil Ganesan, Vasu Shanmugam, Jebaraj, Pon Ganesh, Salauddin, a large number of party executives, volunteers and members of the public were present during the inspection.
