Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami arrived in Coimbatore last evening. As part of his three-day tour programme, the CM met a large gathering in the Nilgiris and distributedwelfare schemes worth Rs. 520 crores. He also laid foundation stone for various developmental projects in the district.
Following the event in Nilgiris, the CM was scheduled to take part in a public meeting in Sulur, late evening. Hours before his arrival, a minor power outage was reported near the meeting stage.
