Coimbatore: Passengers of Coimbatore - Chennai Intercity express were left in panic after unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the air-conditioned coach, on Tuesday night. No passengers were injured. The railway police are investigating the issue.
Coimbatore: Passengers of Coimbatore - Chennai Intercity express were left in panic after unidentified miscreants pelted stones at the air-conditioned coach, on Tuesday night. No passengers were injured. The railway police are investigating the issue.
After passengers reported the issue, railway police arrived to the spot and found the glass panes of the AC coach damaged. According to reports, some miscreants pelted stones at the AC coach of the Intercity express when it passed through North Coimbatore station. In the incident, none of the passengers were injured.
Preliminary investigations reveal that miscreants who consume alcohol along the railway tracks could have pelted stones. However, further investigations are on.
