Coimbatore: A 17-year-old girl from Coimbatore's Sundarapuram area went missing on 12th and her parents have since been searching for her and also reported to the East All Women Police Station.
Coimbatore: A 17-year-old girl from Coimbatore's Sundarapuram area went missing on 12th and her parents have since been searching for her and also reported to the East All Women Police Station.
Based on the complaint, the police formed a team led by Ramanathapuram Inspector Murugesan abd searched for the girl.
It was revealed that the woman had gone to Madurai with Infant Daniel (25), son of Sivakumar from Puliakulam area, Ramanathapuram. Infant Daniel was arrested at the Singanallur bus stand by the police. InfantDaniel, who was released on bail after being charged under the POCSO Act two months ago for marrying an underage girl, was out on bail and was signing at a police station daily.
He took the gril to Madurai last Friday without signing at the police station and from there to Paramakudi. He was arrested at the Singanallur bus stand on his way back to Coimbatore due to lack of money. The police also rescued the girl, advised her and sent her away with her parents.
