Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu will become a state free of COVID due to the efforts of the Government - Vishnu Prabhu, Managing Trustee, Young Indians Foundation
Coimbatore: "There is no doubt that Tamil Nadu will become a state free of the coronavirus due to the intense efforts of the Tamil Nadu government," said Vishnu Prabhu, managing trustee of the Young Indians Foundation, which provided free gloves to the ESI Hospital in Coimbatore.
While the Central and State governments are taking various measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, volunteers are also providing various forms of assistance to help the government. As part of this, the Coimbatore Young Indians Foundation provided free gloves to doctors, nurses and staff working at the Coimbatore ESI Hospital.
Vishnu Prabhu, Managing Trustee, Young Indian Foundation, presented the gloves to Dr. Nirmala, Dean, ESI Hospital.
Speaking to reporters at the time, Vishnu Prabhu said that the corona outbreak in Tamil Nadu is on the decline due to the joint efforts of the health ministry, ministry for internal affairs and doctors in Tamil Nadu. He also said that the impact of the disease, which had initially increased in Coimbatore, is now greatly reduced by the joint efforts of various departments.
He said there was no doubt that by the end of this year, Tamil Nadu would have become a state completely free of the COVID due to the intense efforts of the Tamil Nadu government.
The event was attended by many including the manager of the Young Indians Foundation, Karthikeyan, and executive members.
