Coimbatore: MLA Kasturi Vasu inaugurated a Drivers Association in Valparai.
More than 500 rental vehicles such as vans, cars and autos are in operation in Valparai. The drivers of these vehicles have formed an association. The office of this association was inaugurated by Kasturi Vasu, the MLA of Valparai constituency.
After the inauguration, she provided relief assistance to the drivers affected by the COVID lockdown. She assured that all assistance will be provided to the drivers.
Co-operative bank president Valparai V. Ameed, Vasu, Pon Ganesh, Salaludeen and union executives were present during the event.
