On completion of inspection, he directed the authorities concernedto complete the work soon. East Zone Deputy Commissioner and other officials were present during the inspection.
The flying squad officials conducted a surprise inspection at R.S. Puram Uzhavar Sandhai. They also distributed flyers containing information regarding the necessity of using face masks, maintaining social distancing and eating foods that boost the immunity and advised the importance of all the preventive measures that must be undertaken.
Considering the welfare of the people, each zone of the Coimbatore Corporation has been allotted one vehicle per zone to identify people with COVID-19 and to transport them to hospitals. Further ambulances to conduct PCT testing in all the areas of the Corporation 24x7 have been inaugurated for the use of the public by the Corporation.
