Rameshkumar (34) hails from Kittampalayam, Coimbatore. His father Muthusamy passed away four months ago. It is said that he was depressed following his death.
Last night, his younger brother Gopalakrishnan had gone to his brother's house with his friend Prabhakaran and knocked on the doors. After breaking open the doors based on suspicion, Gopalakrishnan was shocked to see that Rameshkumar was hanging from the beams of his home.
He was taken to Annur Government Hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. Following a complaint filed by Gopalakrishnan, Karumathampatti police registered a case. Rameshkumar's body has been sent for autopsy to the Government Hospital in Coimbatore.
