34 new cases in Coimbatore today; 20 patients below the age of 40 tested positive

Coimbatore: Coimbatore today saw another big spike in the number of COVID-19 cases. Out of the 34 patients, 20 are below the age of 40 and nearly half of them have no travel or contact history.

1. A 32-year-old female from Sungam with no travel history.

2. A 34-year-old male from Othakaalmandapam with no travel history.

3. A 54-year-old male from TV Samy road, RS Puram with no travel history.

4. A 75-year-old female from Venkatakrishna Road, RS Puram with travel history to Dindigul on July 2.

5. A 55-year-old male from an apartment in Selvapuram with no travel history.

6. A 40-year-male from Kasthurinaickenpalayam with no travel history.

7. A 45-year-old male from Housing quarters in Ukkadam categorised as low risk contact.

8. A 32-year-old female from CMC Colony, Ukkadam categorised as low risk contact.

9. A 54-year-old female from Addis Street categorised as low risk contact.

10. A 12-year-old male from VVC layout, RS Puram categorised as high risk contact.

11. A 7-year-old male from VVC layout, RS Puram categorised as high risk contact.

12. A 13-year-old male from Sri Murugan Nagar, Kalapatti with no travel history.

13. A 65-year-old male from Ramanathapuram with no travel history.
