Coimbatore: The residents of Quaid-e-Millath Colony demonstrated a protest demanding basic facilities in their area, on Friday.
On July 3, 2020, around 10.30 AM, members of the Quaid-e-Millath Colony residents association (Rose Park, Arputham Nagar, Reshma Garden) gathered together by maintaining social distancing to highlight the plight of their residential colony which is been denied of several basic amenities.
They pointed that the drainage water flowing from the Ukkadam Sewage Treatment Plant passes through the residential areas of the colony causing an unbearable stench.
The residents demanded immediate relief from the issue by stopping the sewage water from flowing through the residential area.
They stood in front of their houses with face masks, while maintaining social distancing and protested.
