Knowing this, many are extending their support to the people. Meridian Rotary Association renovated 21 huts in the settlement, said its president Sathishkumar
Also 15 students have been provided with bicycles to attend school. A children's park for kids and a skill training center for unemployed women are to be set up.
Similarly, 14 huts have been renovated on behalf of the Journalist Avinashilingam Memorial Trust.
Caste certificates and Aadhaar cards are being issued by the district administration.
The Malasar tribals have thanked all those who have helped them.
