Greater Chennai Police Commissioner AK Viswanathan has been transferred and appointed as the ADGP (Operations) Chennai. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, ADGP (operations) is the new commissioner for Greater Chennai Police.
Likewise, 39 IPS officers of the state are promoted/transferred.
