Coimbatore South Constituency AIADMK MLA Amman Arjunan's daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
MLA Amman Arjunan resides in the Thirunagar area of Selvapuram. His daughter's family had gone to Madurai and returned to Coimbatore yesterday. Following this, nine members of the household were tested for COVID-19.
The MLA's 32-year-old daughter, 39-year-old son-in-law and 11-year-old granddaughter tested positive for COVID-19. Six other members of the family including the MLA tested negative.
The three who tested positive for COVID-19 have been admitted at Coimbatore ESI hospital for treatment.
