Similarly, various legal battles are underway to demand action against brick kiln owners who illegally exploit mineral resources. Rajendran, however, petitioned the District Collector to take steps to curb the illegal activities in Coimbatore.
In his petition, he accused Giridharan from Veerapandi, eldest son of Solaiappan Periya Thambi (a) Nagarajan has looted red sand from his 11 acre land in Veerapandi. He requested immediate action.
