Tirupur: With three new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Tirupur on Sunday, the total tally has reached 150. All three cases belong to Veerapandi area in Tirupur district, with travel history to other districts.
According to reports, 2969 people including 209 people added today are under home quarantine. And, 140 people who were under quarantine have successfully completed the period.
As of today, all 32 active cases in the district are being treated at ESI hospital in Coimbatore and other government authorised private hospitals.
The Collector has informed that during an inspection by the flying squad today, 360 people were identified without masks and a fine of Rs.45,450 in total was collected.
