COVID-19: 26 new cases in Coimbatore; seven from Madurai Konar Mess in Thudiyalur
Coimbatore: According to the State health bulletin, a total of 428 COVID positive cases has been reported in the district of Coimbatore, as of today.
26 new cases have been reported on June 27 from various places across the district. Of which, seven cases are from a mess named Madurai Konar Mess in Thudiyalur. Cases continue to be reported in KK Pudur which are categorised as cluster cases.
Details of patients tested positive for COVID-19 on June 27:
1. A 16-year-old female from Abirami Nagar in Sulur with travel history.
2. A 35-year-old male from Poo Market with no travel history
3. A 26-year-old female from KK Pudur categorised as cluster case.
4. A 23-year-old male from Kamarajar street in KK Pudur categorised as cluster case.
5. A 45-year-old male from Kamarajar street in KK Pudur categorised as cluster case.
6. A 48-year-old male from Kaliappan street in KK Pudur categorised as cluster case.
7. A 27-year-old male from Olympus categorised as high risk contact
8. A 45-year-old female from Semmandampalayam in Sulur with no travel history.
9. A 52-year-old male from Kaveri Nagar in Edayarpalayam with no travel history.
10. A 46-year-old male from MGR Market with no travel history.
11. A 50-year-old male from Periya Veedhi in Saravanampatti with no travel history.
12. A 22-year-old female from CMCH campus with no travel history
13. A 22-year-old male from Madurai Konar Mess, Thudiyalur categorised as cluster case.
14. A 25-year-old male from Madurai Konar Mess, Thudiyalur categorised as cluster case.
15. A 45-year-old female from Madurai Konar Mess, Thudiyalur categorised as cluster case.
