Coimbatore: Sangeetha Hospital run by Dr. Krishnasamy, founder of the Puthiya Tamizhagam Katchi, was closed today due to a COVID-19 patient's death. Dr. Krishnasamy's wife has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Dr. Krishnasamy's wife handles the management of the Hospital that functions in Kuniyamuthur. Day before yesterday, a patient who came to the hospital for treatment passed away, following which he was tested for COVID-19.
The results of the test came out today and the deceased tested positive for COVID-19. Further Dr. Krishnasamy's wife also tested positive.
Following this, the Health department has sealed the hospital and the way to the hospital has been cordoned off.
