Emergency Surgery Unit equipped with beds, x-ray machines and ventilators worth Rs.36 lakhs, donated by the East and West Rotary Club of Tirupur was inaugurated today at the Tirupur Government Medical College Hospital.

The Tirupur South MLA Gunasekaran cut the ribbon and inaugurated the new Emergency Surgery Unit which has been equipped with 6 beds, x-ray machines and ventilators.
"All postsurgical equipment to aid in monitoring and recovery of the patients are present in this unit. It is a dream come true for doctors", said the Tirupur Government Hospital Dean Valli Sathyamoorthy.

The event witnessed participation of Tirupur Government Hospital Dean Valli Sathyamoorhty, Tirupur Rotary Club Governor Karthikeyan, doctors and nurses.
