Coimbatore: DMK lawyer Arulmozhi condemned AIADMK legislator Amman Arjunan for spreading lies and slander on DMK. In a press meet, Arulmozhi said South zone MLA Amman Arjunan has been spreading lies about DMK Chief Stalin and Singanallur MLA N. Karthik amid the public.
He said his allegations are false and that he has no proof. He sought an explanation for the same. He alleged that Amman Arjunan has made his wife a power of attorney and sold Corporation reserve sites to three people. When DMK members asked about this, Amman Arjun started making various false claims and spreading false statements about DMK, he said.
He said the legislator is doing this to get into the good books of Minister SP Velumani and if such actions continue, he would initiate legal action against Amman Arjunan on behalf of the DMK. He demanded that Amman Arjunan should apologize for the statement issued against DMK and that he should no longer engage in such activities.
