Father and son deaths in Thoothukudi: Federation Of Tamilnadu Traders' Associations calls for one-day protest
Coimbatore: In the father and son death case in Thoothukudi, the Federation Of Tamilnadu Traders' Associations has called for one-day strike on June 26 and submission of petitions statewide demanding action against the cops involved.
It was alleged that the Sathankulam police took the father-son shop owners stating they violated the COVID curfew in Thoothukudi. The son and then the father, who were imprisoned in a sub jail, died within a interval of 12 hours. All opposition leaders have condemned the affair that has caused a stir throughout Tamil Nadu.
In this case,various traders' associations in Tamil Nadu jumped into the protests. In the meantime, Federation of Tamilnadu Traders' Associations has called for a daylong strike in Tamil Nadu tomorrow to protest, what they allege as, lock-up deaths of the father-son duo in Sathankulam.
Also, it has been announced that petitions will be submitted on June 30, all over Tamil Nadu calling for action against the cops involved in Tamil Nadu.
