With the rapid spread of COVID-19 becoming a major threat, MLA Kasturi Vasu has been raising awareness regarding the safety precautions to be followed to prevent the spread of the disease, among the tea plantation workers.
A few days ago, she led a campaign insisting the use of face masks, washing hands with soap and the need to maintain social distancing with a space of three feet.
On those lines, she donated three automatic sanitizer dispensers in Valparai today. The Valparai GH, Municipal Office, and the Tahsildar Office, places where many throng on a daily basis, were the beneficiaries.
Valparai Trade Union President Hameed, District Secretary Mayil Ganesan, Vasu Pon Ganesh, Salauddin, party executives, doctors, nurse, municipality officials and revenue officials were present during the event.
