Coimbatore: A migrant worker in the Variety Hall area ended his life in depression following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant.
"Dhoni" fame Bollywood actor Sushant killed himself recently in Mumbai. His death has caused repercussions amid people from all walks of like.
Under the circumstances, Ganapathi Das, 20, a Rajasthani migrant worker in Coimbatore ended his life after he got depressed about the actor's death. He wrote a suicide note to that effect.
This afternoon Ganapathi Das left his workplace for lunch. When his colleagues found that his room remained locked for a long time, they knocked the doors to no avail. They broke the doors open then and found Ganapathi Das dead, hanging in a noose made out of a nylon rope.
Upon receiving information, Variety Hall Police Station cops rushed to the spot, retrieved the body of the deceased, and sent it for autopsy. They found a suicide note that said "I am going to meet Sushant bhai." A case has been registered and inquest is on.
