Coimbatore: After four persons from same family tested COVID positive in Konavaikalpalayam near Vellalore, the area has been contained and fumigation is being carried out.
According to reports, four members belonging to the same family from Konavaikalpalayam LG Nagar, Phase 2 tested positive, on Tuesday. Following which the area has been sealed off. Neighbours and those who were possibly in contact with the affected are being subjected to PCR testing. The area is being disinfected.
The neighbours queued up and reported their personal details to the health officials, who camped there to collect details of the people living in the locale in order to conduct random PCR testing.
