Man kills himself following quarrel with wife in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: A man hanged himself to death following quarrel with his wife in Coimbatore.
Murugan hails from Ramaswamy Nagar near Somayampalayam, Coimbatore. His son Raghupati (21) works in a private company. He is said to have been an alcoholic and used to spend his entire salary on drinking. In this case, his wife had asked for money to go for the last rites of one of her relatives.
Raghupathi argued with his wife and said that he had no money. Following this, at about eleven o'clock last night, he killed himself by hanging in a neem tree near his house. The wife was shocked to see her dead husband. Following a complaint lodged by her mother, Dhanalakshmi, Vadavalli police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
His body was handed over to relatives after autopsy. The death of the youngster following an argument with his wife has saddened the relatives and others in the locality.
