Thendral Selvaraj warns of protests if the AIADMK does not stop smuggling natural resources to Kerala

After being released on bail from the Gobichettipalayam Prison after 24 days of imprisonment, Thendral Selvaraj stated that continuous protests will be help if the smuggling of natural resources does not stop and also promised to release the location and the names under which the stone quarries of the AIADMK executives function.


Coimbatore: After being released on bail from the Gobichettipalayam Prison after 24 days of imprisonment, Thendral Selvaraj stated that continuous protests will be help if the smuggling of natural resources does not stop and also promised to release the location and the names under which the stone quarries of the AIADMK executives function.

"If the ruling AIADMK members do not stop smuggling natural resources to Kerala the DMK will conduct continuous protests after obtaining permission from the party President M.K. Stalin", informed Coimbatore Suburban South District In charge Thendral Selvaraj, who was released on bail from the Gobichettipalayam Prison.

Thendral Selvaraj had accused the ruling party of smuggling natural resources continuously. Following this Thendral Selvaraj, his Assistant Keerthi Anand and Kinathukadavu East Union Secretary Durai were accused of slandering Minister S.P. Velumani and the Kinathukadavu MLA Ettimadai Shanmugam on social media. The police filed cases against them and arrested them.

After 24 days of imprisonment, Thendral Selvaraj was released on bail today from the Gobichettipalayam prison. Thendral Selvaraj who arrived at Pollachi was given an enthusiastic welcome at Kottampatti, Pollachi by the DMK on behalf of the State Weavers' Wing.

Following this, he paid a floral tribute to a decked photograph of Karunanidhi placed in front of the Pollachi Central Bus stand. He also paid homage to the photo of Anbazhagan.

Speaking to the press after this, he said, "We are going to inform the public about the location of the stone quarries of the ruling party members and the names under which they operate. If the smuggling of natural resources to Kerala is not stopped by the ruling party then continuous protests will be undertaken with the permission of the DMK party President M.K. Stalin."

He finally stated, "not just 24 days, even if it is 24 months of imprisonment, the DMK cadres will not fail to fight for the party."
