15 COVID-19 positives in a single day in The Nilgiris
The Nilgiris: A total of 15 people tested positive for COVID-19 in a single day in Nilgiris, today. District Collector Innocent Divya said, rigorous changes would be effected in traffic and the unnecessary movement of public in the district.
With no major changes in the COVID scenario in the district for the past 36 day in the district, 15 cases were recorded today, to the shock and dismay of many. Subsequently, a consultative meeting was chaired by the District Collector Innocent Divya and the Special Officer for Corona, Supriya Sahu.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, she said the outbreak is being proliferated by the arrival of people from other states and districts. She added, after the meeting the chief minister tomorrow, decisions about controlling the inflow of traffic and other necessary changes to curb the spread of the virus would be taken.
