Petition filed with Coimbatore Collector for clarification regarding Std 10 exams for failed and private candidates
Coimbatore: Students who failed in previous Std 10 public exams and applied to write them privately have submitted a petition requesting re-exam to be conducted.
Public re-exam for failed students and private students were supposed to be held along with the board exams which were slated from June 15. As the exams stand cancelled for 2020, these students are in a quandary as to their future.
Some of them had come to the Coimbatore District Collector's office today and demanded immediate action by the Government of Tamil Nadu to conduct exams for them. Government had announced that all students who were to appear for the 10th public exam stand passed.
Hence they petitioned demanding clear communication from the state government to the students who were scheduled to appear for the exams privately.
