Coimbatore: 11 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in Coimbatore district, on Saturday. Reportedly, PCR samples of 30 staff members of GRT Jewellers in Coimbatore who allegedly arrived from Chennai has been taken and sent for testing.

1. A 32-year-old female from Chinnampalayam, Pollachi with travel history.
2. A 60-year-old male who was in contact with a patient who was admitted in Madurai for hernia surgery.
3. A 68-year-old male from Sowripalayam with travel history from Chennai through flight No SG501
4. A 58-year-old female from Sowripalayam with travel history from Chennai through flight SG501
5. A 31-year-old female from Dhanam Nagar, Myilampatti who was in contact with a high risk contact from Chinniyampalayam.
6. A 58-year-old female from Dhanam Nagar, Myilampatti who was in contact with a high risk contact from Chinniyampalayam.
7. A 18-year-old female from Big Bazaar Street with no travel history.
8. A 24-year-old male from Raja Street.
9. A 25-year-old male from Annur.
10. A 54-year-old male from Gandhipuram with travel history to Walajahbad to attend a funeral.
11. A 41-year-old male from Gandhipuram with travel history to Walajahbad to attend a funeral.
