25-year-old man from Coimbatore who traveled to Chennai dies in ESI Hospital
Coimbatore: A 28-year-old man treated at ESI Hospital for COVID-19 dies. The 28-year-old man from RG Pudhur, Ramar Koil Street, Coimbatore, was admitted to the ESI Hospital on Saturday night from a private hospital in Chinniampalayam after he was tested positive for COVID-19. .
He died yesterday and since autopsy facilities were not available at the ESI Hospital, the body has been sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.
Healthcare department sources said they are awaiting the autopsy report to determine whether he died of coronavirus infection or other complications.
