The protest was held at the Kotagiri Market grounds by the AIADMK cadres who demanded the arrest of DMK's R.S. Bharathi. They also condemned the party President M.K. Stalin for not keeping a check on his party cadres.
During the protest, more than 200 AIADMK cadres led by MLA Shanthi Ramu raised slogans condemning M.K. Stalin and demanded the arrest of R.S. Bharathi.
The protestors wore face masks and maintained social distancing.
The State Association Secretary and Former Rajya Sabha member K.R. Arjunan, former Lok Sabha member C. Gopalakrishnan and party cadres participated in the event.
