Non-subsidised LPG cylinder price goes up by Rs. 37
Oil companies usually change the price of LPG gas cylinders on the first date of each month.
The cylinder price, which continued to rise after last August, fell in the 3 consecutive months from last March. The price of a subsidized household LPG cylinder in Tamil Nadu has been increased by Rs 37 today. Accordingly, the cylinder price in Chennai was hiked to Rs 606.50 from Rs 569.50 in May.
Oil companies said the price hike would not affect subsidized gas cylinder sales. It is to be noted that the price of the cylinders in Chennai fell from Rs. 761.50 in April to Rs. 569.50 in May.
