The Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park is a beautiful biosphere reserve that has been created near Anaikatti with the sole purpose of nurturing native trees, flowers and fauna that are endemic to the Nilgiris by The Coimbatore Zoological Park Society. Over 450 varieties of native trees, flora and fauna are nurtured here and some of these species have become quite rare. 85 species of those that are found in NBNP are endangered and are not found anywhere else.

The Nilgiri Biospehere Nature Park (NBNP) is registered under Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975. The primary objective of NBNP is to create awareness among the people about the natural heritage of the Nilgiris Biosphere. The effort is to ensure that the future holds promise of a referral garden for the region to come back to.
To continue to sustain this wonderful initiative, NBNP proposes to create a corpus to sustain maintenance of the park and is hence organizing a fund-raiser event - Ooh La La! Ooh La La is a musical evening starring popular playback singers Haricharan, Anand Aravindakshan & Shweta Mohan. The Show will be compered by Ms. Priyanka, the Orchestra is by Bennet and The Band from Chennai, and will have Mugen Rao of the Big Boss fame making a guest appearance.
The event will be held on Saturday the 25th January 2020 between 5.30 and 9.30 pm at Hindusthan College Grounds, Avinashi Road Campus.
To those musical fans out there, this is a great initiative to spend an evening with a star studded line up of musicians and contribute to a worthy cause.
