He was here at Nadur in Mettupalayam to express how condolence to the family of the victims who lost their lives in the wall collapse incident on December 2.
Addressing the media, he questioned, "Why did the officials turned deaf ears to the grievances putforth by the people of AT Colony of Nadur regarding the wall? Had they responded to their complaints, this accident could have been averted."
"A special committee should be set up to analyse the issue in all angles. Importantly, the State's promises including solatiums and new homes should be provided to the bereaved people without any time delays", he urged.
