Coimbatore : Expressing his condolence to the families of the victims of wall collapse incident in Mettupalayam, CPI(M) Coimbatore MP P.R. Natarajan called it as "The most heart breaking incident in the history of Coimbatore district."

No amount of solatiums can compensate the lost lives. The perpetrators should be punished severely without any discrimination, the MP urged.
"A special officer must be appointed to ensure all promises are delivered to the families on priority", he proposed.
Standing in support with the aggreived families, MP PR Natarajan said that the Police failed to realise the underlying emotions of the aggrieved people who witnessed children and women of their family crushed to death in the most gruesome way. Unleashing lathi charge on them is inhumane and condemnable. All the arrested should be released without any conditions, he said.
On behalf of CPI(M) he promised the people to stand by them and fight for justice.
