According to police reports, Ajithkumar (19) from Kodaikanal and a college girl from Sulur who has been pursuing her graduation in Coimbatore and working part time at a Mill in Sulur, had been dating each other for the past few months.
Soon, the teenagers who started the conversations in a friendly manner ended up in love. It is reported that during one such chat conversation, the duo have exchanged compromising pictures with each other.
Shortly, the girl found that her teenage boyfriend had been acting weird and broke up with him. The teenage boy who allegedly had been forcing her to continue the relationship, uploaded the pictures of the girl in social media to revenge her.
Shocked by his action, the girl along with her parents lodged a complaint with Sulur Police station who upon investigation arrested Ajithkumar and booked him under section 417 ,506 (1), Cyber Crime 6E, 67(A).
He was produced at the District Combined Court here and later lodged in the Coimbatore Central Jail.
