Hundreds of cadres have lined up at the District DMK office here at Vadakovai as interviews with the applicants for the post of Mayor, Councillor, Panchayat and municipality posts are being held.
The applications for the posts were received from November 13 to 27 and interviews for the same has commenced from today.
DMK MLA N. Karthik of Singanallur Constituency is interviewing the candidates of wards belonging to Pappanaickenpudur and Ganapathy.
