The Commissioner insisted that all streets must be kept clean across all the 100 wards of the corporation and the concernal zonal and assistant commissioners should monitor the work closely.
He also emphasised on efficient solid waste management with proper segregation of degradable and non-degradable waste. He also stressed on dengue awareness among the masses.
"Clogged drains, underground drainage tracts and sewage must be promptly using JCBs", he insisted.
Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramasamy, City Engineer, Lakshmanan, Zonal Health Officers and Health Inspectors were present.
