As heavy showers continued to pour down in many parts of the city, vehicle users had a tough time navigating through city roads.

The rains that began around late evening starting filling up under ground drains and flooded the streets.
While the vehicles were stuck in traffic in most of the roads, those that travelled through Lanka corner and State Bank Road faced a hefty task as water ran knee deep.

Vehicle users expressed their annoyance towards Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation for not solving the flood problem at Lanka Corner, as both the underpasses was flooded.
Since the State Bank Road was also flooded passengers who rushed to catch their trains had a tough time with the traffic and flood.
