Erode: The second edition of Weaves 2019, South India’s premier textile fair, a four-day exhibition and conference, which was inaugurated on November 27 at Texvalley, Erode saw an overwhelming response, with more than 2500 B2B footfalls including 1500 potential buyers from both domestic & International markets.

The event is being organised by Texvalley in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Weaves 2019 has attracted the participation of 200 exhibitors representing a wide cross section of the textile industry, from yarns, fabrics, handlooms, and readymade garments.
Key note speakers from the Industry highlighted on various intriguing facts from design concepts to forecasting of trends for the coming year.
Speaking about the response for Weaves 2019, C. Devarajan, Past Chairman, CII Erode & Vice Chairman, Erode Textile Mall Pvt Ltd (Texvalley) said, “We are excited on the overwhelming response from the visitors and potential buyers in last two days, and we expecting footfalls to increase in next two days. The exhibitors have received good enquiries during the day and many business deals have been finalized. There was a lot of interest in weaving and allied technologies."
