Coimbatore: The Rathinapuri police are on the lookout for three transgenders, who allegedly robbed Rs 10,500 from a man here on Wednesday night, in the pretext of blessing him.
According to police reports, on Wednesday night near Tabadad, three transgenders had stopped a motorist and demanded money. After the man agreed to give money, the trio in the pretext of blessing, tricked him and eloped with the cash from his pocket.
He was robbed of Rs.10,500. The victim, Imran Khan (33) resident of Kathiravan Nagar, Podanur, Coimbatore lodged a complaint with Rathinapuri police station.

In the recent days, similar accusations are made by people in social media and complaints to police have also been raised to nab the transgenders who create nuisance to the public.
