Drivers are advised to drive with care and use low-beam headlights for proper visibility.
The recent dense foggy weather has reduced visibility across the Nilgiris, especially in the stretch between Kotagiri and Coonoor. Hence, the district police have advised the motorists to use extra caution.
At several places, the visibility could be reduced to as little as a quarter mile, say motorists who say after 2 pm, dense fog engulfs the roads making it impossible for the motorists to operate vehicles.
