Coimbatore: Coimbatore startup Vilfresh was one of 12 startups from India to represent India at Slush 2019, the annual flagship tech congregation of Finland.
Innovators, startups, enterprises, venture capitalists, and policymakers from across the world gather at Slush to forge relationships with all the key stakeholders of the global ecosystem.
This year, the European Commission at Helsinki was held on November 21-22 and Vilfresh was among the 12 most innovative startups chosen by the government of India to represent the nation at EC.

Slush 2019 is a one-of-a-kind platform for startups to explore opportunities, build global partnerships, making funding pitches and interact with top startups who represent several countries.
Selvakumar Varadharajan, the Founder of Vilfresh met with Vani Rao, Indian Ambassador for Finland. Elucidating his experience in Finland he said, “we are a company of the laymen, by the laymen and for the laymen and we are extremely proud to be selected by Startup India to attend Slush 2019. It has been a great experience in connecting with brightest entrepreneurs and I thank Startup India for this opportunity”.

The Embassy of India in Helsinki, as a supporting partner of the conference, along with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), had set up a ‘Start-up India Pavilion’, which facilitates the participation of the 12 Indian startups in the conference.
