A complaint has been filed at Race Course police. Swarnakani (86) from Pillaiyarpuram here in her complaint stated that as her husband passed away recently, she came to the District Collectorate on Monday to submit a petition requesting old age pension.
When she checked on her purse to pay for a form, she noticed that her purse was stolen. She immediately broke down in tears and sought the help of the public. Seeing her dire state, a reporter at the Collectorate wrote down a complaint and helped her file at Race Course police.
