Coimbatore: More than 500 students from RVS Siddha Medicine in Sulur and Ayurvedic Medical College, JSS Naturopathy Medical College in Navakkarai nd Martin Homeopathy College held a rally to educate the masses on dengue prevention.
District Collector, K. Rajamani flagged off the Dengue awareness rally which was aimed to edu are people on mosquito-borne fevers like dengue and chikungunya.
The rally commenced at the District Collector's office and ended at VOC Ground. As part of the event, Nilavembu concoction was given to the public in District Collector's office and near VOC ground.
Speaking of the rally, Siddha Medical Officer, Dhanam said, "Children aged from three to sixteen years are easily prone for infection and dengue. Those affected have to take Nilavembu concoction five a day for 15 days."
