Coimbatore: The public of Valparai have commended the police department for their swift action in arresting the accused for attempting burglary at an Axis Bank ATM.
Coimbatore: The public of Valparai have commended the police department for their swift action in arresting the accused for attempting burglary at an Axis Bank ATM.
The accused were identified as R. GopalSamy from Negamam, Pollachi and Raja from JE Bungalow area near Ayyarpadi in Valparai.
A police team led by Inspector Balamurugan commenced the investigation on the burglary attempt on November 20 at Ayyarpadi area. Based on finger prints and CCTV footage retrieved from nearby areas, the police received a tip-off about the whereabouts of the accused.
Acting upon the information, the police rushed to Kulangal area in Valparai and arrested the duo. The arrested were produced before the magistrate in Valparai and later remanded in Coimbatore central prison.
