Alleged Maoist leader Danish alias Krishan (28) was produced before Justice Vadamalai at the District Sessions Court in Ooty.
In 2016, it was reported that around five Maoists entered Kolakombai and Muperkaadu areas where Tribal villagers live and allegedly tried to brainwash people to join their movement by distributing pamphlets.
Maoist Danish was arrested in connection with this case and was produced in the District Sessions Court, Ooty. It is to be noted that there are many cases against Danish for crimes against the Kerala government.
