Speaking to the media at Coimbatore Press Club, the AIADMK Spokesperson was confident that the party would emerge victorious in 2021 assembly elections and Edappadi Palanisamy will be sworn as the Chief Minister candidate.
With full-hearted consent from all of the AIADMK party administrators and supporters, Edappadi Palanisamy will contest as the Chief Minister candidate in the 2021 elections and lauded the CM as a very able leadership.
Taking a dig at DMK Party President, he ridiculed that M.K.Stalin has not recovered from his party's worst defeat in Nanguneri and Vikravaandi by-elections. He also scoffed that there were no vacancies in politics, however there are many empty spots in the movie industry.
He proclaimed that AIADMK is the party for the people and people have realised the fact. The ex-MP also assured that there is no ties between AIADMK and Sasikala.
Clarifying on the accusations that the State government is acting in a biased way in the Pollachi sexual assault case, he said that the next move is in the hands of the court.
