Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Revenue Officers Association's Coimbatore District Executives Association election was held at Thomas Club, on Thursday. The Sundararaman-led Bharati team and Muthukumar-led Imaya Varamban team contested this election.

Of the 440-member Revenue Officers Association, 358 people voted in yesterday's election. Muthukumar of Imaya Varamban's team won the election with 183 votes against Sundararaman who contested on behalf of the Bharati team.
Shanmugaraj, who contested for the post of Secretary won with 182 votes. Harris of the Bharati Party won the election for Treasurer with 203 votes, defeating Dhanapal who secured 152 votes. Harris was the only person to win in the Bharati team.
In addition, the candidates from the Imaya Varamban team won the posts of Secretary (City) - Vice President (City) - (Suburban). Headed by electoral officers Muruganantham and Silambarasan, the election was held on Thursday from 1 pm and continued till 7 pm. Following this, the election results were announced this morning at 1.30 am. The Revenue Officers Association handed over a bouquet and felicitated the winners with a shawl.
